PROGRAM:
Arrival and overnight stay in Zermatt. Briefing with your mountain guide at 5pm at the ZERMATTERS Homebase.
Day 1
8.30am Meeting point at the bottom station Matterhorn Express. The gondola will take you up to Klein Matterhorn at 3‘817m. Here you start the ascent to the easiest 4000m peak, the Breithorn. After a further hour’s ascent to the Schwarztor, the descent takes you over the Schwärzegletscher to the Gornergletscher at 2’500m. Roped to your guide, the last ascent for the day begins up to the Monte Rosa Hut at 2‘882m.
Day 2
After spending the night at the Monte Rosa hut, the day starts with a first light climb towards the lower Plattje. The moraine at about 3‘080m is crossed with the skis strapped to your backpack. After the crossing you descent to the Gorner Glacier. From here roped to your guide begins the ascent to the Cima die Jazzi 3‘796m. You made it to the top … the well-deserved long descent over the Findel glacier to Gant awaits you and you finish off your day with your return to Zermatt.
REQUIREMENTS:
You have done various ski tours before, feel comfortable skiing in off-piste terrain and are in good physical shape.

CHF 550.00 per person incl. overnight stay with half board at the Monte-Rosa hut
